Omni Heroes Beginner Guide: Finish Onboarding, Get the Omnitrix, and Transform

A step-by-step first-session walkthrough for Omni Heroes: follow It Came From Space to the crash site, get the Omnitrix, transform into Heatblast, and start the Back to Camp quest loop.

Quick answer

When you first spawn in Omni Heroes you start Act 1, Episode 1, 'It Came From Space'. Follow the glowing green arrow trail through the forest to the crash site, let the cutscene put the Omnitrix on your wrist, then press Q, pick Heatblast and press E to transform. After the tutorial steps, the 'Back to Camp' quest pulls you into the transformation and quest loop.

  • Your first quest panel tracks two objectives: 'Watch the meteor fall' and 'Find the crash site'.
  • A floating marker shows the distance to the crash site in studs, so just follow the green arrows.
  • At the crater, step into the 'Crash site' pickup ring to trigger the Omnitrix cutscene.
  • Transform tutorial keys: Q opens the Omnitrix wheel, pick Heatblast, then E transforms. G also opens the Omnitrix from the hotbar.
  • Your HUD shows a 'LAUNCH GIFT' panel reading 'Finish the tutorial to open'.

What happens when you first spawn

Your first quest, Act 1, Episode 1 'It Came From Space', is tracked in the quest panel right from the start, with two objectives: 'Watch the meteor fall' and 'Find the crash site'. From there, the forest is easy to read: a glowing green trail of arrow markers runs along the path toward the objective, and a floating marker shows the remaining distance in studs. Follow the green arrows and you will walk straight to the crash site.

Picking up the Omnitrix at the crash site

The trail ends at a smoking crater ringed with scattered rocks, with a floating pickup marker labeled 'Crash site' next to a glowing green ring. Walk into the ring and a cutscene plays: the Omnitrix watch rests in a bowl-shaped metal container inside the crater, then flies up and attaches itself to your character's left wrist while your character inspects it. The watch is on your arm, and the transform tutorial starts immediately.

The transform tutorial: your first Heatblast transformation

An on-screen panel headed 'TRANSFORM' now teaches the transform control:

  1. Press Q to open the Omnitrix. A rotating wheel UI appears, showing alien entries including the diamond-shaped 'HEATBLAST' icon.
  2. Pick Heatblast.
  3. Press E to transform.

A green-glow animation plays and your character turns into Heatblast — a fiery alien with a lava-cracked orange body and a flaming head — and a 'Heatblast' nameplate appears above you. The watch stays one key press away here: a 'G Omnitrix' button sits in the bottom-left hotbar, and a prompt reads 'Press G to open the Omnitrix'. Once you are ready to look beyond the tutorial, our Omni Heroes transformations guide covers the alien roster in depth.

Into the main loop: 'Back to Camp'

After the tutorial steps, the quest HUD shows a follow-up story quest, 'Back to Camp', listing objectives such as 'Ride to the campsite', 'Talk to Grandpa Max', 'The Omnitrix is reacting...' and 'Destroy the drones attacking the camp 0/5'. Pay attention to the timed banner that comes with it — 'STEP 1 OF 2 - TRANSFORM BEFORE THE DRONES ARRIVE' tells you this quest expects you to use the watch on a clock, not just follow markers. This early quest sets the pattern: follow the quest, transform when it calls for it, clear the fight. Your surroundings are the Bellwood Forest area, with the minimap labeling zones like 'THE FOREST' and 'EAST TRAIL'.

Launch gift, XP and codes while you start

From the tutorial's opening screen, your HUD shows a level badge (LV 1), an 'OMNITRIX LV 1' progress line and an XP bar starting at 0/100, plus a 'LAUNCH GIFT' panel that reads 'Finish the tutorial to open'. The CODES menu is also worth an early visit: it offers redeemable codes (each code works once) alongside LIKE MILESTONES rewards that unlock as the community reaches like goals, including timed progression boosts — one unlocked milestone row reads 'CODES UNLOCKED - LIKES940 - +50% XP & mastery, 1 h'. Code availability changes constantly, so do not rely on memory — the current list lives on our Omni Heroes codes page.

Where to go next

From 'Back to Camp' onward, your goals are simple: keep clearing story quests, learn the aliens, and grow your level. The full Omni Heroes progression guide picks up right where the tutorial leaves off.
