Omni Heroes Transformations Guide: How to Open the Omnitrix and Transform

How to transform into an alien

Once the Omnitrix is on your wrist, transforming takes three inputs:

1. Open the Omnitrix. Press [Q] — that is the key the on-screen TRANSFORM panel tells you to press. Omni Heroes also displays a "Press G to open the Omnitrix" prompt with a G Omnitrix button on the bottom-left hotbar, so if Q does not open the watch on your screen, use the G prompt the game is showing you.
2. Pick an alien. The watch opens a rotating wheel of alien entries, each form shown as an icon on the dial — during the tutorial you will see the diamond-shaped icon labeled HEATBLAST. Select the alien you want.
3. Press [E] to transform. A green-glow animation plays and your character turns into the chosen form. In the tutorial that is Heatblast: a fiery alien with a lava-cracked orange body and a flaming head, complete with the in-game reaction "What happened to me? I'm on fire!"

You do not have to guess whether it worked. A nameplate with the alien's name — "Heatblast" in the tutorial — appears above your character, so that nameplate is your success check after pressing [E].

Where the Omnitrix comes from

You do not start the game already wearing the watch. It arrives in the first story quest, Act 1 Episode 1, "It Came From Space":

1. Follow the glowing green trail of arrow markers along the forest path to the crash site.
2. The Omnitrix rests in the crater. When you reach it, the watch flies up and attaches itself to your character's left wrist.
3. The transform tutorial begins immediately after the cutscene, walking you through the open, select and transform sequence above.

Unlocking the rest of the wheel

Heatblast is only the first form. The tutorial teaches one transformation flow — open the Omnitrix, pick the alien, press [E] — and Omni Heroes has 15 aliens in total that unlock as you level up, each with its own moves and combos. The game advertises powers like fire, speed, crystal and strength — fitting the watch's tagline, "One watch, endless powers."
