Omni Heroes Dungeon Difficulties: Easy to Insane and How to Choose

Omni Heroes dungeons have selectable difficulties from Easy to Insane. Here's what the setting changes in a run and how to pick a tier that matches your strength.

Quick answer

Omni Heroes dungeon difficulties span from Easy up to Insane. The setting exists so you can scale the fight to your strength: lower tiers ease off, higher tiers put up more of a fight, and the run itself keeps the same format either way.

Which difficulties you can pick

An official Omni Heroes update added selectable dungeon difficulties, announced as running "from Easy to Insane." Easy and Insane are the two ends the update names; the announcement doesn't name the tiers between them.

What your choice actually changes

The concrete difference is challenge. As one guide puts it: "Difficulties range from easy all the way to insane, so you can scale the fight to your strength." In practice, a tier that suits you lets your team handle the waves and still have something left for the boss, while a higher tier makes that same fight far less forgiving.

What the setting doesn't change is the shape of a run. Dungeons are a co-op loop — team up with friends, survive the waves, defeat the boss and loot the chest — and the difficulty choice modifies that same fight rather than swapping in a different mode. If you're new to the mode, the Omni Heroes dungeon guide walks through the run from team-up to chest. Every tier still ends the same way, with the boss's chest to loot; our dungeon rewards page covers the loot side.

Picking a tier that matches your strength

Because the range is built for self-scaling, finding your tier is simple:

  • If you're new to dungeons, start at a low setting and see how your team handles the waves.
  • If the run feels comfortable from the first wave to the boss, step up to a harder tier.
  • If the waves keep knocking your team down before you ever reach the boss, that tier is ahead of your current strength — drop back down and try again once you've grown stronger.

Expect the harder tiers to be a later goal rather than a day-one pick. Growing your roster is what carries a team up the ladder: level up, unlock more aliens, and clear the story bosses, then push into higher dungeon difficulties. Treat that order as a sensible path rather than a hard gate. The Omni Heroes progression guide covers the growing part.
